Back to School Party at the Plaza

Join us at Melrose Plaza for a fun-filled Back to School Party at the Plaza designed to help students and families prepare for a successful school year!
The event will feature:
- Free haircuts provided by students from DAYTEC and instructor George Harrington
- Free giveaways
- Art activities
- Games and music
- School supplies
- Community resource information
- Information from the Virginia Department of Health about back-to-school and sports physicals
- Pure Barre Roanoke Free Intro Barre Class

Help us support local students! Donations of new school supplies for event giveaways will be accepted at Melrose Plaza through Thursday, August 6, 2026.
