Back to School Bash

Join us at Melrose Plaza for a fun-filled Back to School Bash designed to help students and families prepare for a successful school year!
The event will feature:
- Free haircuts provided by students from ROTEC and instructor George Harrington
- Free giveaways
- Art activities
- Games and music
- School supplies
- Community resource information
- Information from the Virginia Department of Health about back-to-school and sports physicals

Help us support local students! Donations of new school supplies for event giveaways will be accepted at Melrose Plaza through Thursday, August 6, 2026.
Bring your family, enjoy the activities, and get ready for a great school year! This event will be held in the Melrose Plaza Conference Room & Parking Lot.
