DESCRIPTION:Join the Virginia Department of Health for a LGBTQ+ Suicide Prevention & Sensitivity Training hosted at Melrose Plaza. \nThe Trevor Project’s CARE (Connect\, Accept\, Respond\, Empower) Training is an interactive and intensive training that provides adults with an overview of suicide among lesbian\, gay\, bisexual\, transgender\, queer & questioning (LGBTQ) youth\, and the different environmental stressors that contribute to their heightened risk for suicide. \nThis event is free to the public. \nThis event will be held in the Common Area and Conference Room.
